Special Activities

We are a family owned and operated business. Therefore, we value the importance of creating opportunities for families to spend time together, while participating in fun activities.

Graduation/ Family Picnic- Each year we have a graduation for our preschool students who are preparing for the transition to kindergarten. They even have caps and gowns. It is a very special day for our RCDC families.
Ice Cream Socials- Families are invited to join us for ice cream sundae parties which are at no additional cost for families. Star Student- Each week a different child has an opportunity to be our Star of the Week. They can bring in a special treat and pictures of their family. They can also have a special guest reader come in!
Pumpkin/ Apple Picking- These are weekend events that are scheduled to provide families with a time to share in the wonders of fall.
Sparkles and Dreams- This is a monthly service that is offered (additional cost). Parents/ Guardians from RCDC can bring their child to our school on designated Saturday nights for a few hours, while they have time to themselves. During Sparkles and Dreams, children complete a special craft and other fun activities.
Holiday Parties- Children sing songs, play games, and complete crafts. Thanksgiving Feast- In November, we turn our preschool into a place for families to gather for a Thanksgiving feast. It is a day to be thankful for our RCDC family!
Special Guests- We have a visit from our local fire department and children get to see the truck. We also have a dentist who visits us to discuss dental hygiene. Other speakers visit to support curricular goals.
